The globalSAN license key is generated using information specific to its environment, and will therefore be invalidated if migrated or restored.
The original Activation Key will not work once the Product Key changes.
- If your purchased Activation Key is no longer working and your hardware has not changed, simply reinstalling globalSAN will typically create a new Product Key, which can be used to retrieve a new working Activation Key by clicking "View Key" at globalsan.net. The correct Product Key will be found in the initiator after reinstalling:
