When viewing content on an EVO NAS share, the creation time for files/folders may change each time a modification is made. This is because the file system used does not natively store the creation time.
It is possible to add support for this value so that the original timestamp is preserved (in version 126.96.36.199 or later). Please contact us if you'd like to make this modification, which will require a quick remote session and restart of the network services.
* This is not always applicable to previously created files/folders, but we can assist with assigning timestamps to existing content.
* As is common with many aspects of network sharing in a cross-platform environment, there are some differences in the handling of this information between SMB and AFP, and between Windows File Explorer and Mac Finder.
