If an EVO network share is not listed as an option in Final Cut, it could be because there are some folders in place that make the volume look like a P2 card.
The "CONTENTS" directory is typically expected to be related to the folder structure on P2 cards.
When using P2 cards, the following directories can be expected:
CONTENTS/
CONTENTS/AUDIO
CONTENTS/CLIP
CONTENTS/ICON
CONTENTS/VIDEO
When the "CONTENTS" directory exists at the root (top level) of a network share, FCP X will not display the contents of the share, since the structure suggests it is not a valid network destination.
All that's required to correct this is for these directories to instead be located in any folder on the share, rather than at the top level.
