EVO shared storage by SNS enables a collaborative edit workflow for all major NLEs, as well as asset management and file automation tools to organize and ensure safety of data. OneDrive has been validated for use with EVO. To configure replication jobs with OneDrive, please follow the instructions below.
Requirements: EVO 7.1 and an active Office 365 Business subscription
- Sign in at https://portal.azure.com/
- Search/navigate to App registrations
- Click New Registration
- Name the application, choose tenant access, and click Register
- Navigate to Manage > Authentication (Preview) > Settings
- Enable Allow public client flows
- Click Save
- Navigate to Manage > API Permissions > Add a permission
- Select Microsoft Graph
- Select Delegated permissions
- Type “Files” in the search box to expose and expand Files >
- Select
Files.Read,Files.Read.All,Files.ReadWrite, andFiles.ReadWrite.All
- Type “offline” in the search box, and select
offline_access
- Click Add permissions to save
- Review and confirm the six permissions (including default
User.Read) show correctly.
- Navigate to Overview
- Note the Application (client) ID
- Note the Directory (tenant) ID
- Navigate in the EVO interface to Slingshot > Settings > Create Alias
- Paste the client and tenant IDs and then click Get User Code
- Copy the code and then click “link” to open
https://microsoft.com/devicelogin
- Enter the code and click Next
- Pick an account if prompted for authentication
- Click Accept
- Confirm sign-in and close the window
- Save the alias
- Allow a few moments for registration
- If successful, a Volume ID will be listed
- The alias is now available for selection for Slingshot replication jobs.

If alias registration fails, carefully check settings, and confirm active subscription status for Microsoft 365 Business at Microsoft 365 Admin Center > Billing > Your products (https://admin.cloud.microsoft/?#/subscriptions)
