In environments where SANmp is used on mixed versions of Windows, a change in the way newer versions of Windows handle NTFS file systems is exposed.
If a volume is mounted R/W on a Windows 8 or newer machine, and then an attempted RO mount of the same volume is attempted from a Windows 7 machine, the volume will be seen by the Windows 7 machine as needing disk repair.
The workaround is to use the Read+ mode when mounting with Windows 7. This mode can be enabled in SANmp Client from the Volumes menu.
