In modern versions of ShareBrowser (5.0.3 or later) you can import files as well as tags and comments by simply dragging clips from the ShareBrowser Extension for Final Cut Pro .
The selected media files will be imported to the current library with associated ShareBrowser tags mapped as Keyword Collections and comments stored as Notes.
The previous description is ONLY for legacy versions of ShareBrowser (5.0.3 or earlier) which contained a feature called "Export to FCPX":
EVO ShareBrowser's “Export To FCPX” feature enables users to bring media files into a Final Cut Library along with any ShareBrowser tags and comments. The media files are organized by mapping ShareBrowser tags & comments to Final Cut Pro's Keyword Collections and Notes.
How to use the ShareBrowser “Export To FCPX” feature.
- In ShareBrowser, select one or more media files to be used in your FCPX project.
- On any selected file, right-click to expose the contextual menu.
- Choose “Export To FCPX”
- At the dialog box, choose the FCPX Library you want to import the media files and metadata into, or click NEW to create a new Library.
The selected media files will be exported to the chosen FCPX Library in a new Event, with associated ShareBrowser tags mapped as Keyword Collections and comments stored as Notes.
