Note: This article relates to the ShareBrowser Web App and Premiere Panel.
For exporting tags and comments using the ShareBrowser Client desktop application installed on workstations, please refer to this Knowledge Base article, and the ShareBrowser guide by clicking Help in the application.
The ShareBrowser Web App provides added integration with Premiere, with web-based preview proxies available for quick searching, tagging, and commenting.
Content can be added directly to custom bins for use in the ShareBrowser Client application, and the Web App can also be added to Premiere as an embedded panel, using the extension available at the Adobe Exchange (ShareBrowser 5.0.2, ShareBrowser 5.0.3).
This functionality requires at least ShareBrowser 5.0.2, and the server and client components do need to match, so contact support if you'd like to know more about the upgrade options available for your EVO.
Once web-based preview proxies have been configured and generated on EVO, users can log in to the SB Web App using either a web browser or the integrated Premiere Panel.
Using a web browser, tags and comments can be applied, and content can be added to ShareBrowser bins for use in the ShareBrowser Desktop Client application.
The ShareBrowser Premiere Panel provides the same functionality as the Web App, but also allows users to drag content directly into their working Premiere bin. The associated tags and comments will follow, populating the Description and Log Notes fields, respectively.
Please see the ShareBrowser guide for more details (available by clicking Help from within the installed application), and/or contact our support team with any questions.
