This article only applies to legacy versions of ShareBrowser prior to version 6.
If attempting to use the ShareBrowser macOS Indexer (v.5.0.3) with macOS Catalina there is a known issue that prevents network drives from indexing correctly.
To fix this issue, Full Disk Access permission must be given to the ShareBrowser Indexer binaries in macOS's System Preferences.
To enable this, navigate to macOS System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> Privacy -> Full Disk Access. Click the '+' button. Navigate to the /Library/EVO Sharebrowser folder, select the following files:
- sbconfigtool
- sbdiskservice
- sbfsenumerator
- sbfslistener
- sbhmdextractor
- sbdhmdimporter
- sbhmds
- sbhmdsender
- sbserviceproxy
Click the "Open" button.
It may be needed to unlock this pane by clicking the lock in the bottom left and inputting admin credentials.
Once this is done. Launch the ShareBrowser Indexer Configuration Tool, click "Additional Parameters," then logout and login again under "Indexer Status."
Please note that the macOS Indexer will be deprecated in the next major version of ShareBrowser.
