Permission to use the Premiere Plugin
In order for users to upload from Premiere, they will need access as a member of the workspace since this workflow bypasses EVO and ShareBrowser permissions.
To add plugin users, an Admin needs to log in to the Admin interface and click Manage users:
Users added here will be granted access to upload from Premiere via the plugin.
Submitting a sequence to Outpost
Once installed, the plugin will be available in Adobe Premiere 2026 under Window -> UXP Plugins -> Outpost.
Click Sign in
Premiere will need permission to open a browser:
Once you complete the sign in process, you're all set!
To send a new sequence for review, simply open the sequence and click Export file
You will be prompted for:
- Name - the filename to share
- Workspace - The Outpost workspace, likely a pre-filled list with a single option
- Visibility - whether public or private
- Preset - A variety of h.264 options
- Range - Optionally send a whole sequence or send from in/out markers
- Email Invitations - Optional invitations with a message allows you to share for review directly from Premiere.
After Exporting or processing with Media Encoder, you should receive an email your file was shared.
You will then be able to view comments directly from your Adobe Premiere timeline!
Viewing and leaving comments in Premiere
Once the sequence has been sent to Outpost, comments will appear automatically when the sequence is open in Premiere.
You can reply to comments or leave new comments from Premiere as well.
To export a new version simply click Export new or click the settings cog for more options.
Note: As versioning is not yet supported by Outpost, this will create a new link and reset the comments on the sequence in Premiere.
