If you've connected to your storage via iSCSI or Fibre Channel, and Disk Utility in OS X or Disk Management in Windows shows your SAN disk(s), but nothing is presented in SANmp Admin, it could be that the iSCSI initiator or Fibre Channel adapter isn't in SANmp's approved list.
By design, SANmp will recognize and make available any disk whose driver reports itself as “Fibre Channel” or “iSCSI.” Some popular initiators, however, do not report themselves in a standard way.
To support the desired adapters/drivers, SANmp uses a “whitelist”, which specifies which additional adapters/drivers should be recognized by SANmp. The most common initiators and HBAs are already in this list, but it is possible that new revisions of FC drivers or iSCSI initiators will change the way they report themselves, and therefore be unrecognized. If you are unable to view any disks in SANmp Admin, please contact Technical Support; it may be required to add your adapter to the whitelist.
